an arrant need for verifying the credentials of the driver before he is hired by you. It is not necessary that the person you hire has committed a fraud in the past but as there is an old saying "Prevention is better than
cure", same precept can be applied in case of verification. A proactive approach to verify before trusting would be a better gamble.
Below have been mentioned the scope which is covered in driving license verification:
- The address and ID proofs are retained
- Verify the driving license credentials with the issuing RTO.
This is to cross-verify the credentials provided by the person with the Road transport office ( RTO) the driving license held or reported by the person and declare its authenticity and expiry of the license.
